Inauguration of Theatre Cervantes – 9 April 2005
 
The Minister of Culture will inaugurate The Theatre Cervantes on April 9 2005 and a few days later on 15th, the monument The Malagueña will be inaugurated, these are 2 important events in Álora this month.
The Theatre Cervantes has space for 440 people, who will be able to enjoy different cultural activities.
 
The theatre is opened with the intention of becoming one of the most important venues in the province of Málaga. To corroborate this intention, the inauguration will be in the presence of the Minister of Culture.
 
New premises for Heineken
 
Heineken Espana is to invest heavily in a new plant in Southern Spain. The Spanish subsidiary plans to pump €320m  into its new plant in Seville, Andalucia, the company’s president, Carlos Jaureguizar, said yesterday 31 March 2005.
 
Construction of the plant, on a 43-hectare sized plot in the Torreblanca area of Seville, will begin this month. The company has an option to buy a further 20Hectares and hopes to move into the new factory by 2008.
 
Heineken Espana presently employs around 1,000 staff in its plant in the Nervion region of Seville. This site has an annual production capacity of 3.45m hectolitres. The subsidiary expects the new site to have a capacity of 8 million hectolitres per year.

Alonso Storms to Provisional Pole
 
Renault's Fernando Alonso produced the fastest lap in first qualifying for Sunday's Bahrain Grand Prix.
 
Alonso clocked one minute 29.848 seconds but Michael Schumacher was just 0.389 seconds behind, ominously powering the new Ferrari into third.
